PingBudget Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 September 2026 · Applies to the PingBudget Android app (com.zaimel.tracker) and to this website

In short. PingBudget is a budgeting tool, not financial advice. Your records live on your phone, so keeping them is your responsibility - if you uninstall the app they are gone and we cannot restore them. The AI guesses; check what it suggests before you accept it. Paid tiers are billed by Google Play, and refunds follow Play's rules.

1. Who these terms are between

They are an agreement between you and Ali Bana ("we", "us"), the publisher of PingBudget. Installing or using the app means you accept them. If you do not, do not use the app.

You need to be old enough to enter into a contract where you live, and at least 13, to use PingBudget.

2. What you may do with the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use PingBudget on devices you control, for as long as these terms are in force. The app and this service remain ours.

3. What you may not do

We may suspend a device that does any of these. Where a suspension is our mistake, tell us and we will lift it.

4. Your data lives on your device

Transactions, accounts, categories, balances and settings are stored on the phone itself. There is no cloud copy and no server-side backup, which means:

5. The AI feature, and what it is not

When you reply to the notification or ask for a retry, your text is sent to our server and passed to a third-party AI provider, which returns an interpretation as a draft entry.

Interpretations are estimates. The AI can misread an amount, pick the wrong category or the wrong account, or misunderstand a date. Review each draft before you accept it. You are responsible for what ends up in your records.

PingBudget is a personal budgeting tool. Nothing it produces is financial, tax, accounting or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for your bank's own statements.

5.1 Daily limits and rewarded advertisements

AI requests are limited per device per day. The limit resets at 00:00 UTC. You can earn a small number of extra requests by choosing to watch a rewarded advertisement; a reward that Google's verification does not confirm is not credited. The numbers, and the availability of rewards, may change - the current values are the ones the app and the service report at the time you use them.

6. Privacy

How data is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Where the two appear to differ on a question of data handling, the Privacy Policy governs.

7. Paid tiers, billing and refunds

Pro and Premium are sold through Google Play. Google, not us, takes the payment, holds your payment details and issues receipts. Prices, taxes and currency are whatever Play shows you at the moment you buy.

8. Advertisements

The free tier shows advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. What advertisers show is theirs, not ours, and we do not endorse it. Where the law requires it, the app asks for your consent to personalised advertising and you can change that choice at any time in Settings → Privacy options.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service running, but it is provided as it is: it can be interrupted for maintenance, by a provider outage, or by a change beyond our control. Features, limits and AI providers may change, and a feature may be withdrawn. If a change materially reduces something you have paid for, you may cancel the subscription through Google Play.

10. Warranties

To the extent the law allows, PingBudget is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results. Some jurisdictions do not allow this; where that is so, this clause applies as far as it can and your statutory rights are unaffected.

11. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for loss of data - including budget records that were only ever on your device. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 25.

Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Ending the agreement

You can end it at any time by uninstalling the app. We can end or suspend it if you breach these terms, or if we stop offering the service; where we stop offering it, we will give reasonable notice through the app or the release notes. Clauses 11, 12 and 14 survive the end of the agreement.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, and the courts of Indonesia have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, or your right to bring a claim in its courts.

14. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms. The current version always lives at this address, with the date above showing when it last changed. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised terms; if you do not, stop using the app and cancel any subscription through Google Play.
